  • Indie musician Feist will drop a podcast on 9 July called ‘Pleasure Studies”. It’s made up of stories related to the themes explored on her 2017 album Pleasure, and is a co-production with Talkhouse and Earios.

  • Cosmopolitan magazine has come out with its first branded podcast, a project with Tinder called Single, Swipe, Repeat. Digiday has a full writeup — the magazine is aiming for 50,000 listeners.

  • Ex-Crooked Media podcaster Jessica Cordova Kramer has teamed up with author and actor Stephanie Wittels Wachs to launch a new podcast studio called Lemonada Media (in partnership with Westwood One). Their first show, Last Day, will focus on “modern epidemics”, beginning with opioid abuse, following the last days of Kramer’s brother Stefano, who she lost to an opioid overdose in the winter of 2017. Two more shows are slated to launch in October and November.

  • Six creators, including Kathy Tu, Josh Gwynn and Wil Williams, have taken part in a Q&A about LGBTQ voices in podcasting hosted by Pocket Casts. Read the whole thing here.
