- Crooked Media announced this morning that it has hired Sarah Geismer as the progressive media company’s new “Head of Creative Development and Production.” The official press release notes that the role involves leading development for all of Crooked Media’s active and upcoming podcast, television, and film projects.” Geismer joins from Netflix, where she was an executive on the Original Series team.
- Last week, I noted that Bill Irwin, Stitcher’s director of audience growth, was leaving the company. Turns out, he went to Spotify, where his role is now listed as “Podcast Content Strategist.”
- In the inbox: Tapad, a startup that specializes in developing services that helps marketers identify the same user across multiple devices, has announced a new partnership with Adswizz in which the former’s tools will now help improve the latter’s audio ad buying platform to “reach, engage and measure each interaction with their desired consumers on digital radio and podcasts channels, and across devices.”
