Creator Hrishikesh Hirway, who has hosted the podcast since its inception in January 2014, is stepping away from the mic after five years. As host, he will be replaced by the singer-songwriter Thao Nguyen of Thao & Get Down Stay Down, while production duties will be taken over by Christian Koons. I’m going to miss hearing his voice at the top of the show, but I’ve been assured that he will continue to do the ads.
