  • The Daily began rolling out fifteen and thirty-second ads on television, YouTube, and Hulu earlier this week. This builds upon the marketing campaign they launched for the podcast earlier this summer, which included outdoor advertising takeovers in cities like Portland, OR; Los Angeles, CA; and Chicago, IL.   • The BBC has opened up its call for podcast commissioning for its BBC Sounds app and… it’s interesting, I suppose. (BBC)
  • Rotten Tomatoes expands its criteria to include more diverse critics… which also means that they’re including criticism from podcasts. This is extremely cool. (The Wrap)
  • Cadence13 partners with The Action Network to launch a sports gambling network. (Chicago Tribune)
  • On a semi-related note: “CBS Sports launches a Google Home action for fantasy football players.” (Digiday)
