We linked to a 9to5 Mac report yesterday that it does, indeed, seem like Apple is soon to have a desktop podcast app. And lo, it seems to have arrived already — I’m now seeing an interface very like the iTunes desktop app when I follow a “listen on Apple Podcasts” link. You can play episodes, see reviews and browse related shows, but there’s no subscribe option and it still includes a prominent “listen on iTunes” button at the top. The whole thing is titled “Apple Podcasts Preview”.
